This colourful A grade raw and natural Amazonite is from Madagascar. The vibrant greeny blue hues  are enhanced by the velvety lustrous surface of the pieces. 
Amazonite is a potassium feldspar and belongs to the microcline family. It has a triclinic lattice system and is vitreous. Some believe Amazonite is coloured by lead, but there are various theories about this.
