Amethyst Quartz Trio
This unique set of three beautiful and collectible amethyst Quartz from three different countries has been carefully selected to compliment each other with many features, some rare.
1. Shangaan Smokey Amethyst - from Zimbabwe, and mined by the Shangaan tribe, this smokey amethyst sceptre has at least three moving BUBBLES in water/fluid pockets. One bubble is big and can be seen from three faces of the termination, travelling around a triangular pocket. The other two bubbles are small and sit one above the other travelling in a straight line. The Quartz has a sceptre formation. Internally, there are deep purple amethyst hues, with smokey swirls, and red hematite dots. There are several gas inclusions. 3.7cm, 12gm
2. Brandberg Quartz Dow - from Namibia, this water clear Brandberg Quartz has a well balanced Dow termination, 7,3,7,3,7,3. On one side there is a long shallow growth interference. Internally there are soft lilac hues, and several fine wispy devic inclusions. 3.1cm, 4.2gm
3. Veracruz Amethyst - from Mexico, this violet amethyst Quartz has numerous trigonic downward facing sunken record keepers on the three main faces. The most being on the bold receiver face. There are several etchings and horizontal striations on the sides. Internally there are mirror inclusions in the lower part, and some cloud at the base. 3.6cm, 7gm
