Much sought after, this rugged and collectible amethyst with red hematite included Quartz sceptre is from Orange River area, S Africa. These don’t come along very often. The amethyst is a rich reddish purple. The red hematite swirls around the top part of the termination. The termination has a channeller face with some interesting growth patterning on display on the faces and sides. A nice example of a sceptre where the Quartz has continued growing over the initial growth. The Quartz is self standing on its base.
