This deep cavernous amethyst geode is a new find from Zululand, South Africa. The amethyst is a deep violet purple and fills the geode with masses of small sparkly points. There is an attractive outer rim of host rock surrounding the amethyst. The geode sits on one edge to display its beauty. A fabulous specimen for a collection.
