6x  kyanite pieces - 30gm
 
This unusual indigo kyanite is from Zimbabwe. It has some absolutely gorgeous shades of blue and there is also black present. This could be due to the kyanite forming in fissures filled with black mica. Kyanite is formed in metamorphic rock and is a silicate rich in aluminium.
