This large chunky smokey quartz point is spectacular with its tactile over growth of hematite, limonite and goethite. The Quartz has a sceptre like formation and skeletal features, and includes a portal by way of a long narrow slit on one side. There is a fabulous rainbow presence in one face of the termination, and presence of clay or another mineral within, seen on one side. The quartz has some transparency where you can see into the depths. The secondary coating is nobbly in places creating wonderful textures on the surface. A very unique and special specimen from Erongo mountains Namibia.
