This stunning tiger eye / hawks eye from South Africa has a shimmering silky luster due to the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibres that have mostly turned to limonite. The hawks eye blue is quartz that has replaced crocidolite. A beautiful piece with shades of yellowy browns and blues this tiger eye / hawks eye is polished on one side and raw and natural on the other. A lovely addition to a collection and ideal for therapeutic healing.
