This slender purple tipped Veracruz Amethyst has numerous tiny trigonic downward facing sunken record keepers on two faces. The clarity within is excellent and the quartz his filled with soft violet purple hues. There is at least one rainbow flash near the base. Externally there is some growth interference on one side and next to it is a small part of a broken off quartz embedded in the side. A rare collectible and ideal for meditation and other spiritual practice and therapeutic healing.

Veracruz Amethyst is from a mountainous area near Las Vigas, in Veracruz state, Mexico. It is considered to be one of the finest amethyst in the world. It is mined as a family business, using hand tools, and wheelbarrows. The side of the mountain has several openings going into short horizontal tunnels.
