Veracruz Amethyst with Chlorite
This tall slender Veracruz Amethyst has a channeller receiver face and several trigonic downward facing sunken record keepers. There is a patch of chlorite on one side below the termination, and more chlorite within the quartz at the base. There are inclusions within and some vibrant rainbow flashes. There is some cloud in parts. The violet purple hues fill the quartz. An interesting collectible quartz and ideal for meditation, channelling and spiritual practices.

Veracruz Amethyst is from a mountainous area near Las Vigas, in Veracruz state, Mexico. It is considered to be one of the finest amethyst in the world. It is mined as a family business, using hand tools, and wheelbarrows. The side of the mountain has several openings going into short horizontal tunnels.
